Il mio lavoro nasce dal tentativo di costruire ordine dentro il caos. Parto da elementi minimi — colore, segno, campiture — e li metto in relazione come fossero presenze, più che forme.
Ogni dipinto si sviluppa in una tensione continua tra rigore e spontaneità: da una parte il controllo, dall'altra qualcosa che sfugge e resiste. Non cerco di risolvere questa opposizione, ma di mantenerla attiva.
Dipingo per mettere in scena questo conflitto: tra il bisogno di dare struttura e una realtà che la mette costantemente in crisi. L'equilibrio, quando emerge, è sempre provvisorio.
My work arises from the attempt to build order within chaos. I start from minimal elements — color, mark, fields of tone — and set them in relation to one another as if they were presences, rather than forms.
Each painting develops through a continuous tension between rigor and spontaneity: on one side, control; on the other, something that escapes and resists. I do not seek to resolve this opposition, but to keep it alive.
I paint to stage this conflict: between the need to give structure and a reality that constantly puts it in crisis. The equilibrium, when it emerges, is always provisional.
